Downtown Bangor First Friday Artwalk
Next Artwalk: August 4

On Friday, July 7th, the second First Friday Artwalk of 2017 took place in downtown Bangor. To help celebrate local artists and for the listening pleasure of the Artwalk patrons, we opened the door to the Studio and four of our very talented young adult students shared their favorite pieces and works-in-progress. A huge BRAVO to Dean, Anya, Curtis, and Tyler for their fantastic performances and a THANK YOU to everyone who stopped to listen!

To continue our celebration of both the visual and performing arts in Bangor, McCormick Music Studio is offering a special Art & Music promotion for this weekend only!

July 16, 2018

We are into the second week of our "Mostly Mozart" Summer Session. The Mozarts hit the road. Wolfie and Nannerl wow the crowds. Marie Antoinette does NOT become the next Mrs. Mozart.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is one of the greatest composers of all time. A musical prodigy, he composed some of the greatest piano works ever written.

He was the Drake or Cardy B of his time... a real rockstar. So our learning assignments will include:

  • Getting Wolfgang's autograph
  • Designing his next album cover
  • Writing him fan mail
  • Following his European “tour” schedule
  • And, of course, listening to his music (some of it with a “pop” twist)

Check out the Student Page here
